Steven R. McQueen

So far this Season we have Stefan and Klaus, Damon and Alaric, and Jeremy and Matt spending quality time together. Watch With Kristin has an interesting article about our favorite boys of TVD teaming up, here is an excerpt:

Seriously, we’ve got Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) tearing it up together (literally!), Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Alaric (Matt Davis) being their usual awesome selves, and now Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Matt (Zach Roerig) have thrown their names in the hat for best TVD bromance. They’d like to thank Vicki (Kayla Ewell), Matt’s dead sister who has been visiting Jer, and weed for making this nomination possible.

To read more about this article and find out some scoop on Matt and Caroline, head on over to Watch With Kristin.

TVD Stars That Deserve Their Own Shows

by Angela on August 25, 2010

Zap2It took an interesting look at the supporting stars of the small screen to see which stars need their own shows and two Vampire Diaries supporting cast members made the list:

Steven R. McQueen: Jeremy has been in and out of love in season one of the show which has led to some compelling moments on the screen. How can we forget “Haunted” when Jeremy figures out what happened to Vicki and then has to see her die. And his work with unraveling the vampire mystery of Mystic Falls and falling in love with Anna! And we’re all waiting to see if Jeremy went vamp for season two!

If Jeremy doesn’t survive Season 2 — and let’s be honest, no one is safe in Mystic Falls – I’d love to see him as the lead in his own action-packed CW show. His star turn in this summer’s unexpectedly awesome “Piranha 3-D” has made quite a splash, and I’ve got no doubt that McQueen is bound for big things. It doesn’t hurt that he’s one of the nicest guys in TV. It’s always refreshing when good things happen to good people.

Michael Trevino: He wasn’t the forefront of the season one and the writers kept hinting at the werewolf thing that never really came out in the first season. Really after Vicki “left” Mystic Falls we didn’t see much of the young Lockwood. But things seem to be picking up for him in season two.

Trevino’s not only easy on the eyes but also possesses the charm and charisma which could easily carry him to leading man status. (Editor’s note: Observations from viewing raw footage of his many interviews with Zap2it). We applaud and welcome Trevino’s (or as we like to refer to him — TV’s Taylor Lautner) juicier storyline. “Vampire Diaries” DVR Season 2 pass. Check. Trevino Werewolf Spin-Off. Check.

  • Kevin Williamson revealed there is a backstory to Katherine that we don’t know about and there will be more Katherine flashbacks.
  • From the new footage of season two, it’s revealed that Katherine did not come back to Mystic Falls for Damon; she came back from Stefan. “The truth is, I never loved you.”
  • Katherine and Stefan will come face-to-face in the season premiere of the show.
  • Julie Plec revealed tidbits about Jeremy: “Jeremy is going to wake up alive or he’s going to wake up dead, but he will wake up.”
  • Will Caroline survive?  Julie Plec wasn’t so clear about that. “Caroline’s life is hanging in the balance; it will either be very sad very dramatic, or she’ll live to tell the tale.”
  • Damon and Stefan will struggle with their own issues: “Damon is wrestling with the good side of him, and Stefan will have to come to terms with being a vampire and excepting it,” Williamson said. But it’s something Somerhalder himself isn’t all that happy about. He chimed in, “The nice Damon freaks me out! I don’t know how to do it well. My favorite scenes are the fun, nutty Damon.” Agreed, Ian, agreed.
  • Kevin Williamson said people are going to die, but “”We don’t kill people just to kill people. It has to fit in the story and make sense.”
