The Vampire Diaries Weekly Spoiler Roundup 20

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. Check back throughout the week for updates.

Annalisa: Loving Klaus and Caroline’s chemistry. Awesome twist! What’s going to happen with them? Anything?
I hear it’s also one of The Vampire Diaries‘ writers’ favorite scenes of the season, but don’t expect a sudden relationship to be born. Caroline (Candice Accola) is still holding strong to her faith that Tyler (Michael Trevino, who will be MIA from Mystic Falls for the next five episodes) will come out the other side of his sire bond issues. However, don’t expect Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to back off, either.  Word is we see more of his interest in Caroline in the Feb. 9 episode “Dangerous Liaisons”—which might explain the stills of the two of them dancing together.

Heathmonterrey: Stefan and Elena—is there any hope for them?
The triangle definitely heats up in the next few episodes as Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) try to rebuild their relationship in spite of both brothers being in love with the same girl.

FrankLewis97: Any chance Stefan will end up being badder than Klaus, and Klaus a big old softy? I like bad Stefan.
The producers told me they swear that Klaus won’t go soft, but that doesn’t mean we won’t start to see a more human side of him—except where his war with Stefan is concerned.  Why is it that Stefan always manages to bring out the worst in Klaus?

Nicole_Gutierrez: When will we see Jeremy again?
Word has it that Steven R. McQueen is still in Atlanta, so hope is not lost for Jeremy fans!

The Vampire Diaries Weekly Spoiler Roundup 18

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. Check back throughout the week for updates.

Moosewithagoose: Could you ask around about possible Stefan/Caroline scenes on TVD? Would be much appreciated, thank you!
Been there, done that! We chatted with Candice Accola who tells us she’s a “big fan” of scenes between the two, but says “as of right now there hasn’t been a lot of interaction” between Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Caroline. Boo! Hiss! As for a romance between the two, Accola says it seems unlikely. “I think that would be extremely complicated,” she tells us. “I can’t really picture that in reality as being something that would happen anytime soon, if ever.”

occamsrazor0: something about the Original family, por favor!
As most Vampire Diaries fans know, we’ll be introduced to two new brothers soon and here’s what Joseph Morgan could tell us when we caught up with him. “I have a very different relationship with Kol than I do with Finn. When you get the whole family together, it’s really charged.” The whole family? Things that make you go hmmm… When we poised the idea of an Originals spinoff to our favorite hybrid, he tells us he’s pulling for it “unashamedly.”

ohnogurl: I always ask and I’m never answered: What are the after affects on The Vampire Diaries after last week w/ Stefan & Elena?!?!
All I can say is that there is something in the next episode regarding what happened with Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder). Stefan won’t be in the dark for long!

Margie: Dying for klaus and Caroline scoop!
Nothing between them in the next episode. Sad trombone! Klaus will have his hands full trying to get the coffins back. But there is a great OMG storyline involving Tyler (not with Caroline) that also involves the girl I will always call nanny Carrie, now known as Meredith Fell (Torrey DeVitto).

Question: The official CW description for an upcoming episode of Vampire Diaries said Klaus holds a dinner party. Any intel on what goes down? —Julia
Ausiello: Sounds like there will be blood for dessert. “There’s always a little bit of violence involved in anything Klaus does — even if it starts as a sit down meal, it’s all going to end in violence,” reveals the host himself, Joseph Morgan. “There will be some things which aren’t strictly within dinner party etiquette. Also, it’s incredibly charged. Imagine having this powerful hybrid hosting a little dinner party. Who will be his guests? And what will the conversation be? And what will he serve for dinner? What will his table etiquette be? It’s a really interesting idea. We’ve seen so much of him in physical confrontation with people, it’s interesting to see a little bit more of his cultured side, his charm and his elegance there at the dinner table

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on January 9, 2012

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristin and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. Check back throughout the week for updates.

Bea in San Diego: Thirsty for some Vampire Diaries information!
One Gilbert leaves, another enters: a new Gilbert is coming to Mystic Falls! It’s time to meet Samantha, who’s kind and warm, but can turn on a dime, unleashing a devilish side. Regarding Jeremy’s (Steven R. MCQueen) exit, you can expect to see him for a hot minute in this week’s episode.

Thewurzelx3: Any hope for Stefan & Elena?
Something tells us those two won’t be reuniting anytime soon. And that something would be Stefan (Paul Wesley) using Elena (Nina Dobrev) as his ultimate weapon in his war against Klaus (Joseph Morgan).  It ain’t pretty, folks!

LorainnecollinsIs there much Bonnie-Damon interaction coming up? Book fans are desperate for those long-awaited Bamon moments :)
We’ve got you, girl! When we recently chatted with Kat Graham we made sure to tell her that we received one or two…or 50 Bamon-related tweets. “Oh my gosh! They will drag you into the Bamon world—it’s so funny! There is none of that so far and I’m actually having more scenes with Paul than with Ian [Somerhalder], but Ian and I are very close.” Don’t start reaching for the tissues just yet book lovers! Kat tell us that she adores her Bamon fans: “They’re wonderful…I would put them up there with Beliebers. Bamon and Beliebers, they’re strong.”

Hi Sandra! I’ve been reading a lot online recently about a new character coming toThe Vampire Diaries, Samantha Gilbert, and that she’s supposedly a new love interest for Damon?? As a hardcore Delena shipper, please SAY IT ISN’T SO!!! — Sophie
It isn’t so. “She’s not for Damon,” EP Julie Plec assures. “We’ll meet her in the past, not the present. She’s somebody that we meet in not present-day Mystic Falls.” All better, Soph?

I am dying over these Vampire Diaries photos right now and don’t know what to think, especially Caroline and Klaus. I need scoop immediately anything on #TVD. — @Gval21
You should be dying — of excitement. Because as hinted in last night’s episode — and teased to Spoiler Room by Julie Plec — it’s on. “I have a feeling that Klaus ultimately is equally capable of indulging in love and sabotaging love, just like Damon is. But there is certainly going to be an object of his interest very soon,” she told us Wednesday night.

Anything about TVD‘s Stefan/Katherine? Thanks! — Rose
Though she’s currently on the down low, I’d expect to see Katherine very soon. “She’s gone underground, and so it will be a surprise when we see Katherine again. As Katherine tends to do, she’ll pop up sometime and throw everyone for a loop,” says Plec.

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on January 3, 2012

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article.

Question: I want some Vampire Diaries scoop! –Philip
Ausiello: Things get very heated between Damon, Stefan and Elena when the series returns on Thursday. Look for all three to have dramatic confrontations with each other — and one of the showdowns even ends with a slap. Elsewhere, keep a close eye on Alaric’s new love interest, Dr. Fell (played by Paul Wesley’s real-life wife/Tree Hill alum Torrey DeVitto). Something tells us this is one character that’s going to be a lot more important than first thought.

Question: Please tell me there’s some Caroline and Stefan scenes coming up on Vampire Diaries! I really miss their friendship! —Amy
Ausiello: Sadly, there’s nothing in this Thursday’s episode. Stefan’s a bit preoccupied with hiding coffins from Klaus. But I have to imagine he’ll find some time in his hectic schedule to wish Caroline a happy birthday next week.

Question: Scoop on Vampire Diaries’ Bonnie, please! Any details about the reunion with her mother? —Alta

Ausiello: It’s not going to be “all Hallmark cards and cookies,” warns executive producer Julie Plec. “There’s a lot of tension there. There’s [also a] surprising explanation about why [her] mother felt like she needed to walk away and never come back to Mystic Falls.” Plec adds that Bonnie’s backstory will “play an interesting role in solving a present-day mythology puzzle.”

Question: Joseph Morgan recently mentioned that he’d like to see Klaus have a love interest onVampire Diaries. Is this happening anytime soon? —Amy
Ausiello: Morgan is getting his wish! While Plec wouldn’t tell us if the lucky (or maybe not so lucky?) lady is someone we’ve met before, she did confirm “someone will catch Klaus’ eye very soon.” Hit the comments with your best guesses!

I can’t wait for The Vampire Diaries to return! What can you spoil? — Heather
NATALIE:
When Klaus decides to take up residence in Mystic Falls, Elena will learn the hard way just how much danger she’s putting her brother in. “There has to be a big change,” executive producer Julie Plec tells us. “What that is, and what she does, is part of the first episode back.” Let’s just say we might not see Jeremy for a while.

Because I can never have enough, any scoop on Bonnie? #TVD — Jenna
First, can we take a beat to recognize the epic-ness of last night’s episode? (Miss it? Read the recap here.) Second, you know that coffin dream that proved to be more accurate than initially thought? There are more of those to come. “I love that they brought in that aspect of her, because a lot of the stuff that Bonnie experiences in terms of being a witch is very external and all about doing a spell and a lot of physicality,” says Kat Graham. “I’m all about the mind, so the fact that they basically are shooting the character in kind of a parallel universe [in those dreams] is super exciting to me and definitely one of my favorite things that they’ve done this season with her.” This isn’t the first time Bonnie has had premonitions. In season 1, a vision predicted when Coach Tanner died, but since then, we haven’t had any more indicators of her future-telling abilities. “Now it seems like they’re evolving it into more actual dreams or visions in her sleep,” Graham adds. And per EP Julie Plec, “Her dreams are all leading her somewhere.” For more TVD scoop, read what Plec had to say about last night’s midseason return and next week’s episode (naked Damon!).

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on December 30, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article.

‘THE VAMPIRE DIARIES’: STEFAN CHANNELS… JACK BAUER AND CHUCK NORRIS?
The year 2011 hasn’t been the easiest for Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Co., on The Vampire Diaries, and, as Julie Plec told Mandi Bierly, the first new episode of the season doesn’t do much to indicate changing winds in 2012. “One of the mysteries of Stefan is he’s got a lot of pain, and he’s got a lot of rage, and a lot of grief, and a lot of guilt. When his humanity was turned off, he didn’t have to deal with that stuff,” she says. “But as it finds its way back through, there’s gonna be a lot flooding back in.”

The first episode will, as Plec puts it, find Stefan with “tunnel vision” in his quest to hit Klaus (Joseph Morgan) “where it hurts” and rid Mystic Falls of hybrids. And by the second episode back, “We get the sense that this guy, who used to be much more concerned with protecting collateral damage, now has no concerns about who might get hurt as he tries to get Klaus to back off,” she says. “[The hybrids] are contributing to the sense of unease that Elena and her friends have about living in this town, and Klaus is relishing everybody’s paranoia, and Stefan is sort of like, ‘No way, get ‘em out. You’re not gonna get ‘em out? I’ll get ‘em out for you.’ So Stefan starts going all Jack Bauer-Chuck Norris on ‘em.”

But Stefan’s “extreme lengths” will cause him to lose fans (cue: brother fight!) — including one person who has thus far been Stefan’s greatest supporter. “His methods are not very much appreciated by Elena,” Plec says. “Our characters themselves are asking this question: Is he good? Is he bad? Is his humanity switched on or off? If on, what the hell is going on? What’s he doing? And the question of how Stefan is channeling all of his emotions into this rage makes him as much of a villain in his own way as he’s been all season.”

I know what you’re thinking: Will all that open the door for more Elena-Damon action? Next Thursday’s new episode will have your answer.

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on December 26, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article.

Ariannagirlq1: How about some Vampire Diaries scoop! I’m dying for the show to return.
And some of you fans are gonna be dying when you see an epic kiss scene that is happening very soon! Confession: I squealed a little when I heard about it. Any guesses who who’s puckering up? In other news, a main character we know and love is leaving Mystic Falls, thanks (indirectly) to Damon.

Question: Got any news about Caroline’s storyline on The Vampire Diaries? —Charlotte
Ausiello: She’s turning 18, and for her birthday the show’s writers are giving her the second episode back, airing Jan. 12! “It’s a big [one] for Caroline,” confirms showrunner Julie Plec of the installment. “It’s emotional. It’s scary. It’s very, very, very powerful.” But the episode isn’t all about Candice Accola’s vamp. “It’s a big episode for the friends — for Elena and Matt and Bonnie and Caroline,” Plec adds. “It’s a big episode for Tyler and Caroline’s relationship. It’s a massive episode for Stefan and Elena, and Stefan’s pissing contest with Klaus and the lengths he is willing to go to make his point, not giving a damn about anyone or anything. It’s a big episode for Damon’s continued evolution as villain to hero. It’s just a nice episode all around.”

Question: The wait for new Vampire Diaries episodes is maddening. Please give us some Delenda scoop to tide us over? —Gabi
Ausiello: Stefan’s seeming betrayal of Damon and Elena leaves the pair “fraught with sexual and romantic tension and very, very, very angry at Stefan,” reveals Plec. “It leaves them thrown together to defend themselves against whatever Klaus’ next move is going to be. It leads to a fairly interesting showdown between Damon and Stefan in which Damon literally tries to beat the answer out of Stefan as to why Stefan betrayed him and ruined his plan.”

Question: How about you give me the Vampire Diaries scoop I so desperately need? —Elizabeth
Ausiello: We definitely haven’t seen the last of badass Original sister Rebekah, Plec tell us. But don’t expect a happy reunion when someone finally takes that dagger out of her. “She let herself get emotionally duped by Elena, and Elena literally stabbed her in the back,” explains Plec. Rebekah’s anger at Elena will be “a big problem for Klaus, who doesn’t want anything to happen to [Elena], and for Elena herself, who pulled the ultimate mean girl back stab and is going to have to pay the price for that.” Rebekah will also be none too pleased with Klaus for lying to her about their mother’s death. “She’s just mad period,” says Plec with a laugh, “all around.”

So Rebecca’s coming back on The Vampire Diaries? Please tell me that doesn’t mean Elena is in danger!  — Hayley
ADAM: Well, somebody is in danger. Big danger. (I mean, isn’t someone always on this show?) “There is definitely a major character whose fate is looking bleak,” executive producer Julie Plec tells us. But not, like, Aunt Jenna bleak, right? “[He or she] may not come out the other side of a terrible life-or-death situation,” Plec teases. Eek! Any guesses?

Meet More of The Original Family

by Deb on December 9, 2011

Two more members of the Original Family have been cast read on for more scoop:

British actor Caspar Zafar(La Femme Muskateer)  and Australian actor Nathaniel Buzolic (Out of the Blue)  have been tapped to play the recurring roles of Finn and Kol, respectively, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Both brothers have a bone to pick with Klaus (Joseph Morgan), especially since they’ve been locked up in those coffins Klaus has been carting around for so long.

We’ve previously met Klaus’ step-father, Mikael (Sebastian Roche), who Klaus killed in the midseason finale, and Klaus’ sister, Rebekah (Claire Holt), who recently died at the hands of Elena (Nina Dobrev). Meanwhile, the group’s other brother, Elijah (Daniel Gillies,  is back in the coffins that Stefan (Paul Wesley) so cleverly stole from Klaus. Two other Original brothers died of the plague and a werewolf attack centuries prior.

The Vampire Diaries returns Thursday, Jan. 5 at 8/7c on The CW. Zafar and Buzolic will first appear in Episode 13.

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on December 9, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article.

The Vampire Diaries | Let’s start by dipping into the mailbag and helping fans of this CW drama cope a bit with the holiday hiatus. Amy asks, “Can you give me any TVD scoop? Specifically, Caroline and/or Stefan scoop?” Amy, here is exec producer Julie Plec’s holiday gift to you: “When the show returns [on Jan. 5], Stefan has been MIA since he stole Klaus’s family coffins, but we’ll learn he’s been busy trying to figure out a way to stay one step ahead of Klaus. When Elena and Damon finally have the opportunity to confront him about his recent actions, his response makes Damon think twice about acting on his feelings for Elena.” Caroline, meanwhile, doesn’t resurface until Jan. 12, when, Plec says, “she and Tyler come to terms with their recent breakup and what Tyler’s sire bond means for their future. Oh, and it’s her 18th birthday!”

Any Vampire Diaries scoop pleeeassseee? — Sophie
While Paul Wesley has made no secret of his love for playing Evil Stefan over Good Stefan and while there’s always a possibility he might revert to the latter sometime this season, there’s one character the actor says will likely never show his sweeter side. “I don’t think Klaus is in any danger of ever becoming a good guy,” he tells EW. He will either stick around as a villain for quite a while or he’ll be sent out with a big bang. I don’t think we’ll ever convert Klaus into like one of the guys in Mystic Falls who works at the Mystic Grill flipping burgers. That would be a big mistake. He needs to be that big dark entity.” Additionally, Wesley teases that Klaus is “definitely still a huge part of the second half of the season,” and that he and Stefan will “continue to walk that fine line between friendship and foe.” “There’s things we need from him
