Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. This week we get some information from Jeremy’s dead ex-girlfriends, enjoy.
ChicaNikkil49: I’m like a vampire without blood when I’m not getting any Katherine Pierce scoop from TVD. Can you help me, please?
Kevin Williamson tells us, “Katherine (Nina Dobrev) doesn’t pop up right away. She hauled ass.” However, Katherine won’t stay gone for long. “Katherine is too delicious to go too long without seeing.” So what can we expect from our resident evil vampy vampire who only loves herself? Let’s just say that when one of the brothers is away, Katherine will play. We know, can we vague that up for ya? But you’ll take what we give you and you’ll like it! (Or just send us angry tweets. Whichever you prefer.)Sunchick116: Any good Stefan/Elena info at all? Or should we just prepare to cry ourselves to sleep the whole season?
Apologies to your tear ducts, but like we said last week Stefan (Paul Wesley) is gone for the first half or so of the season, so we don’t think that bodes well for The Vampire Diaries’ longstanding couple. As for the show’s not-really-a-couple-but-basically-a-couple, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena, I’m hearing he’s going to be giving her the Big U soon. The Big U being an ultimatum, obviously.TooCool_2012: Vampire Diaries scoop please! Will ghost Vickie & ghost Anna be affecting Jeremy & Bonnie’s relationship? I hope not.
Good question. In fact, we asked the same thing when we ran into Kat Graham at the CW party. And by “ran into,” we mean she was on the carpet and we had a camera and, well, you know how interviews go. Anyway, she told us that Bonnie will be both helping Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) with his little issue and struggling with it. “They’re definitely trying to explore all sides of it: her being a compassionate person that the character is. And then the explorations of just natural female jealousy,” Graham says. “Like, ‘Why are you talking to your ex?’ They’re not even his ex-girlfriends! They died—even worse!” Bumpy road ahead for those two, eh?How will Jeremy deal with this whole seeing-dead-girlfriends thing on The Vampire Diaries? — Grace
NATALIE: Jeremy’s newfound skill may actually offer him some hope. “He’s lost everyone he’s loved and it’s been a great weight on his shoulder, so possibly having some connection with the dead lifts a weight off his shoulder and adds more of a level of curiosity rather than fear,” Steven R. McQueen tells us. But how will Bonnie react to this spectral infidelity? “At the end of the day, they really care about each other,” he says. Meanwhile, Jeremy will form a stronger bond with Matt, who also starts seeing dead people!Sandra, you enjoy well-dressed men as much as I do. What did you think of the pictures of Stefan dressed in ’20s gear? Wowza!! What can you tell me about the ep? — Jessica
According to Nina Dobrev, next week’s flashback-heavy Vampire Diaries episode is “almost like a movie” and sure to top the fans’ favorite episodes. “We’re introduced to a couple of new characters and there are huge surprises and a cliffhanger of sorts,” she says. “You learn a lot of information and is very visually stimulating. I think people are going to go crazy for this one.”

Harrison: Can. Not. Wait. For The Vampire Diaries to return. Can you tell us what’s up with Jeremy seeing the dead chicks? How long will they be on? And does this mean things are over with Bonnie?
Nothing like some “dead chicks” to really liven up the place, eh? I’m hearing some very good things about that storyline—It’s gonna be twisty and turny and cool. Also hearing Malese Jow (Anna) and Kayla Ewell (Vicki) will be in about a handful of episodes (somewhere around six) and they will be recurring throughout the season. So you’ll get some fun “dead chick” splashes there for a while, but they won’t be around enough to muck things up with Bonnie. Win-win-win.

As we saw from last week’s The Sacrifice, Jeremy gets his heart broken . . . once again. Can’t the boy catch a break? Or is his string of bad luck in the love department self-inflicted by chosing people that aren’t right for him?
In Season 1, I felt that his heartbreak was unintentionally self-inflicted. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not heartless. I did feel so incredibly bad for him when the town couldn’t find Vicky, when Vicky died, and then when Anna died (I did shed a tear), but look at his choices. Vicky: As a human, she was self-destructive with drugs, alcohol, and I think (safe to say) depression. As a vampire, her behaviors as a human are hightened. Anna: Her first encounters with Jeremy are selfish and due to other motives (by using him t0 get the Gilbert journey), and she is a vampire that is known by and hated by Jeremy’s own family – Uncle Jon. I believe the saying that love can be blind and all of these things really don’t matter in the name of love; however, shouldn’t he know he what he is walking into, and that there is a possibility that these types of leading ladies might not be the healthiest choices for him?
In Season 2, Jeremy’s character definitely branched out from simply being Elena’s younger brother, having “issues” and problems with leading ladies. We saw him happy, socializing more, and becoming involved in the vampire world by wanting to become a hunter. I saw him as a healthier person, and figured that when he found love again, it would be a healthy choice. Then comes Bonnie . . .
I was happy that Jeremy liked Bonnie. I thought it was an innocent love. Bonnie is Elena’s friend so Jeremy already knows her and is probably naturally concerned for her well being – it has just grown and changed into having romantic feelings. Bonnie generally being a good-hearted person and you’re average girl (minus being a witch). I initially thought that the growing relationship for Jeremy and Bonnie showed that he really just can’t catch a break – it seems like as soon as Jeremy starts making it known to Bonnie that he has feeling for her, Luca shows up in town. And instead of his heart being broken by a girl dying or a girl dealing with her issues, his heart is broken by simply being told “no” and rejected. However with re-evaluation, I am now debating between bad luck and another self-inflicted heartbreak. While Bonnie may be great girlfriend material, in Jeremy’s case, she might be the unattainable. She is after all Elena’s best friend
