Okay, I was totally dumbfounded when Katherine wasnt in the toumb-thing. What has she been doing all this time? Why didnt she come back for Damon? How was Stefan and Damon turned if Katherine left? apparently i am left with more questions than answers at this point…
on a side note, you guys keep pronouncing Alaric wrong.. its a-lar-ick not al-er-ic… sorry but thats been bugging me for the past few podcast epis…
Team Damon!!
Im eager to see the showdown when Damon and Katherine meet again.
Cant wait for the next podcast and the next Vampire Diaries!!

This eppisode was by far the best I have seen yet. I don’t even know where to start… I am really happy about Caroline and Matt, really sad about Gramms. I totally loved the scene between Damon and Elena when she was convincing him that she would help him and she took off her necklace to proove it.
The whole tomb scene rocked! I felt damon’s pain though about his Katherene. She knew all along where he was, and didn’t care about him! He was so sad.
And to sum it all up they show us some creepy vampire dude leaving the tomb!!! And we can’t see what happens until March 25th???

I am trying so hard not to read the books, I don’t wan’t to know what happens (although now I know elena will be a vampire from last weeks podcast) But, why do they feel the need to make us wait so long?

Looking forward to your podcast, Can’t wait to hear what you two have to say about all of this.

I love Damon (thats my dad’s name) stephin is great but Damon’s passion is the best and he realy kinda exposes himself and his emotons as he goes along rather that stephin who kinda hids everything for others protection.
It kinda goes back to Twilight Because i love Jacob he puts is feelings out there and just keeps going after it. and in the end there was a huge twist and he’s happy as well as the others. although and other thing im seeing is ellena is another whiny bella. But both are great storie. I want Damon to get with some one he realy cares about rather than be with a playtng. This is another great 3sum.

i just satrtedlistening and i think the cast is great but i wanted to go back to #8 with the question about why ellena didnt tell bonnie about stephins secret and thats because it wasnt her secret to tell.the same as why she didnt tell stephin about bonnie. Also in #8 he pint damon because he wanted to show damon that if he had to kill him could take it to that level. pluse he was pissed and wanted to vent his anger

BEST VAMPIRE DIARIES EPISODE YET!!!! I loved this episode so much, I usually hate flashback episodes because they’re never done well, but Children of the damned was amazing. I really liked seeing Damon with Katherine and also Damon and Elena’s little conversation in the kitchen. I actually sympathize with Damon, he trusted Elena and she lied to him, I get that Elena lied for a ‘greater good’, but poor Damon. And this episode ended so well, I loved every second! Can’t wait for the next episode!!

OK, 1st my favorite scene is Damon dancing around with Vicky – OMG he is so sexy – I want more – my two friends at work, who also watch VD, also love this scene the most.
2nd I think it would be really cool if one of the vampires, in the tomb, turns out to be Damon and Stephan’s father – and they know he’s there?
3rd if all the founding families had a journal, wouldn’t it be a better plot if they had split up the vampire information and how to open the tomb information between them all, to make it harder for anyone to get their hands on the information???-just saying.
4th if Elaina is adopted, then only Jeramey is a descendant of the founding families and Elaina must come from where Catherine’s from.
Please excuse my spelling – I’m so lazy without spell check.

I am TOTALLY Team Damon! He is super awesome and Hot! I can’t wait for more Damon and Elena centered episodes! The books are better at times because Damon is trying so hard to win Elena, I really hope that in the end, it will be Damon and Elena. Keep up the good work, I enjoy listening to your podcasts because you make me laugh.

Hi!! Love the podcast!!! Angela I know you also read the books and was wondering if you wouldn’t mind letting us know what things that happen in the show compare and contrast to the book (I’ve decided not to read the books). For instance, in the book does it mention that Elena was in fact adopted? Also, side not– Isabel was Alaric’s wife!? OMG lol.

Love you guys and love the fact that you guys married each other!!!

I think you guys need to dig deeper! ANNA ( The girl Jeremy met is something relevant to the show.) Think about it SHES “HOMESCHOOLED” They’ve never met before and its a small town. She and Jeremy both have ancestors journals ( come on how many people write journals )? Maybe she’s from vampire linage or maybe she’s Jeremy’s REAL sister. Maybe she was adopted like Elena ?

Elena and Damon…obviously have an attraction!!! As Stephan gets closer to Bonnie “helping her with her powers” and they more Stephan tries to protect her by keeping secrets from her (lookin like Katherine & her being adopted), he’s gonna push her away!. Damon and Elena are gonna get closer beacuse Damon won’t be afraid to tell her everything that Stephan won’t. Dont forget that Bonnie is Elena’s BEST FRIEND and Bonnie trusts Stephan more than Damon.. Alliances are gonna be drawn Damon & Elena vs. Stephan & Bonnie.

Alaric Saltzman & Anna are gonna be CRUCIAL to this show somehow.

but all this is just my opinion.
