Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article.

hezzy76: oh for the love of all things hot please anything vampire diaries!
You want hot? Then hot is what you shall get! The show is currently looking for handsome, tall and physically imposing guy to take on the possibly recurring role of Finn (Glee shout-out?!). While he’s quiet, Finn does have a dark side. Any casting suggestions! Hit us up in the comments!

Question: This season of Vampire Diaries is absolutely the best yet, and I’m rather depressed there won’t be any new episodes until January. Please ease my suffering with some scoop! —Kim
Ausiello: We’ll meet Klaus’ somewhat less evil brother, Finn, in a circa 1491 flashback sequence slated to air in Episode 13. As legend has it, Finn stumbles upon a vulnerable Katerina, and, well, one thing leads to another…

Meet Jamie: Bonnie’s New Love Interest

by Deb on November 15, 2011

Robert Ri’chard (played Mason on Veronica Mars) is taking on the potentially recurring role of Jamie when the hit show returns in January.

Viewers will meet Jamie in episode 12, when Bonnie and Elena (Nina Dobrev) go on a little road trip. Described as handsome (obviously) and a little rough around the edges, Bonnie immediately takes an interest in Jamie. Get it, gurl!

Also set to appear in episode 12? Bonnie’s mother Abby Bennett, who will be played by Girlfriends star Persia White (EW first reported the casting). Coincidence? We think not! We’re hearing Jamie definitely has a connection with Abby…just not one of the love variety. Something they share in common? They’re both hot and troubled! You see, Abby is burdened by the secrets of her past that led her to leave her daughter.

ghart: Another spoiler chat without any #TVD scoop?! You’re killing me here…
Hey, take it up with the Vampire Diaries set, which is like Fort Knox, almost impervious to spoilers. But we are hearing one of our new favorite characters Rebekah (Claire Holt) will be popping up sooner rather than later. Whether she’s un-daggered (best word ever?) or shows up in flashbacks, we’re just glad to have that “evil blood slut” back.

Meet Bonnie’s Mom Abby Bennett

by Deb on November 9, 2011

Former Girlfriends star Persia White has been cast as Abby Bennett, the mother who abandoned Bonnie (Kat Graham), on The Vampire Diaries, EW has learned exclusively. She’ll first appear in episode 312 and recur. Abby is described as a beautiful but troubled woman who is burdened by the secrets of her past that led her to leave Bonnie. She’s also “as determined and fiery as any Bennett woman.” Is that code for “she’s also a witch,” or, perhaps, was there a reason we learned in last week’s episode that someone can be either a witch or a vampire but never both?

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on November 8, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. This week we find out about Bonnie’s new love interest, enjoy.

Question: Do you have any news about a possible hook-up between Damon and Bonnie on The Vampire Diaries? I know it happens in the books. —Giovanni
Ausiello: Is there anything in the books about a romance between Bonnie and a charismatic-yet-troubled duded named Jamie? Because I’m fairly certain that’s happening. Not so sure about Damon-Bonnie.

Hi Sandra! How are you today? I hope all is well. Now, with the courtesies out of the way, I was hoping you had some Bonnie scoopage.  — Mary
When Mandi Bierly spoke to Julie Plec yesterday about the midseason finale, she got some extra details on what fans can expect when Bonnie’s mom, Abby Bennett (Persia White), makes her debut in episode 12, which Plec said she’s currently writing. “In our show, we’ve met a series of Bennett witches. Obviously it is something that seems to have been passed down from generation to generation,” she says. “The lineage of these witches, with Grams and Emily Bennett, has been very important to our show, and Bonnie’s heritage has been very important to the mythology. So it’s about time that we ask ourselves who her mother is, and what her mother might be capable of as a witch or not a witch, and where the hell she is.” Also juicy? We will find out exactly what’s been keeping Mama away from Mystic Falls and her daughter.

Flashback-crazed The Vampire Diaries is doing the time warp again.

This week’s episode (airing Thursday at 8/7c on The CW) travels back 1,000 years to Viking times and, not surprisingly, the hour promises to be a mythological bonanza.

“There’s going to be a lot revealed about the Original family and where we came from,” previews Claire Holt, who plays the newest Original vamp in Mystic Falls, Rebekah. For those keeping track at home, the clan also includes blonde, bad boy brother Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and dearly missed Elijah (Daniel Gillies, who returns in this week’s episode). We’ll also meet the Original mother, the powerful Esther (Alice Evans).

The CW Schedules The Vampire Diaries Fall Finale and Winter Premiere

“You get to see how [Rebekah] interacts with her family and what it was like back then,” continues Holt, who says the episode sheds light on “how her relationship with her brothers and how her relationship with Klaus developed. [You'll see] why they became so close and why they are so loyal to each other.”

Perhaps it has something to do with Mikael, the big bad vampire that sends daggers of terror through even Klaus“You’ll learn that there’s a very good reason why they’re afraid of him,” teases Holt. “It has a lot to do with their history and why they are the way they are… He’s definitely a threat to them.”

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on October 24, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article.

Khloe: So I used to be team damon on Vampire Diaries but I switched over to Stefan…. the last episode made me really want Stefan and Elena to kiss when he caught her! What’s in their future?
Right now Stefan only has one person on his mind, and maybe in his heart. In a bromance kind of way, of course. We’re talking about Klaus (Joseph Morgan). “At this point he’s kind of like an ally,” Paul Wesley tells us. “He’s no longer forcing me to do anything. I’ve given up control and I’m okay with doing what he wants. I have no problem with it and I enjoy it.” And even though we got a sweet little moment between Stefan and Elena (Nina Dobrev) last week, don’t except those to come along too often. “He just entirely does not have any empathy,” Wesley says. “He’s a sociopath. He has no conscience, [and] it’s going to get as bad as you can imagine. Right now he’s gone. He’s gone.” Aww, bummer city and we’re the mayors.

Vampire Diaries: Is the ounce of humanity that we saw in Stefan in the last episode a sign of hope? And if so, will we get him back soon? – Savanna
You mean you aren’t having as much fun as Mandi Bierly and I am! We had a spirited discussion about this while filming a top secret video, and we agree that bad Stefan has been good in all the right ways. That said, remember that Nov. 10 is the last new episode ofVampire Diaries in 2011. Rest assured, it will be a big one — especially for Stefan fans.

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on October 17, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. This week we find out some familiar faces will return.

Sully716: Does the nice Stefan ever come back on Vampire Diaries?
From what Paul Wesley tells us, we don’t think Nice Stefan is making a full return anytime soon, but we may catch glimpses of him. “The thing about Stefan is that the whole struggle the audience is going to watch, and that I hope to convey, is that there are little glimpses. When I say a little glimpse, I mean like a look, like maybe he is still there, but you have no idea. Even I don’t know if he’s really in there.”

Randall: Any scoop on Vampire Diaries? I know Mason is returning and this excites me.
It excites us, too—in all the right places. (What? We meant our brains, naturally.) We’re hearing from sources that Kelly Hu (Pearl), Jasmine Guy (Sheila aka Grams) and Arielle Kebbel (Lexi) also will be seen again on TVD, right around the seventh episode. Ghost party, y’all! Get pumped!

Got any Bonnie scoop on The Vampire Diaries? I feel like we’ve barely seen her this season. — Jessica
NATALIE:
She may want to make herself even scarcer. Why? Her absentee mom is coming to town! And from what we understand, Abby Bennett is quite a handful. Bonnie definitely gets her fiery determination from her mother. But it’ll be a fruitful visit, backstory-wise. We’ll finally learn what led Abby to abandon her daughter.

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on October 11, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. This week we get some interesting information on Matt, enjoy.

Startafrenzy: In Canadian promo, Damon and Katherine are kissing. Please tell me it’s meaningless on Damon’s end!
Yes, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) do kiss in Thursday’s episode of The Vampire Diaries. While we won’t spoil Damon’s reaction to the smooch, we will say he won’t be gone from Mystic Falls for very long.

Question: Anything else you can share about this week’s Vampire Diaries? It looks epic. —Brad
Ausiello: Klaus compels Stefan to completely shut off his emotions, thus paving the way for him to become an official baddie. That’s one of, like, four big twists in the episode, so fasten your seat belts.

Question: I wonder if you have any news on The Secret CircleGleeThe Vampire Diaries or Nikita? —Luana
Ausiello: Eenie, meenie, miney… Vampire Diaries! Look for Matt’s issues with the supernatural world to come to a head in Episode 5, per exec producer Julie Plec. “It’s set the weekend before senior year begins and it’s senior prank night,” she previews. “And of course, things go horribly wrong. For Matt, specifically, it’s kind of bittersweet because there’s a sense of the life he’s lost over the two seasons of our show and it’s really hurting him. We get to explore that in a beautiful and tragic way.” Plec also confirms that “Matt’s gotta get laid this year. He just needs that. He needs love.”

The Vampire Diaries Spoiler Roundup

by Deb on October 4, 2011

Welcome to the weekly The Vampire Diaries Spoiler roundup, I will be providing you with spoilers from various news sites like Watch With Kristen and Ask Ausiello and EW. You will receive all of the spoilers from the week all in one place in this weekly article. This week we get some interesting information on Tyler and Caroline, enjoy.

@mannionh: Tyler and Caroline on The Vampire Diaries please??
We know a vampire and werewolf hooking up is what created Klaus (Joseph Morgan), eventual hybrid extraordinaire. We also know vamp Caroline (Candice Accola) and wolf Tyler (Michael Trevino) recently hooked up, so where does that leave our favorite TVD couple? “We’ve said two things on our show, very clearly. Vampires can’t procreate and yet, vampires’ bodies work like anybody else’s,” Julie says. “Door’s open to take either rule.”

@xMelissaR04: VAMPIRE DIARIES PLEASEEE! After last weeks episode im DYING!!
You and us both, sister. Guess what? It gets even better as a fan favorite (and our personal favorite) is set to return. “Right now, we’re about to start shooting an episode that takes us back to the origins story of the Original family,” Julie Plec says. “We will see Elijah (Daniel Gillies) again.” Wheeeee! While we probably won’t meet all the Originals, the show is reportedly looking to introduce the Original mommy. Double wheeeee!

Question: Any inside gossip on The Vampire Diaries? —Bridii
Ausiello: Rumor has it the Oct. 13 episode, “The Reckoning,” is going to be E-P-I-C. Basically, Klaus goes totally off the rails and no one is safe — especially not Elena, Stefan and Tyler.

Question: Any Vampire Diaries scoop concerning Caroline? —Jo
Ausiello: Dying to see Caroline kick Damon’s ass? Then this Thursday’s episode is for you!

Will Elena ever admit to the chemistry she and Damon share on The Vampire Diaries— Laura
NATALIE:
She may not, but her friends will certainly catch on to their budding passions. In fact, executive producer Julie Plec says that the big “elephant in the room” hasn’t gone unnoticed and soon enough, “her friends and loved ones are going to be like, ‘What’s going on there?’”
