The two ads are very different which is probably how the season is going to play out. In the first one, we have a soft and sweet tone going, which seems very loving. In the second ad, it’s very edgy and sexy! Welcome to the new world of Mystic Falls with Elena and Katherine!

Ace Showbiz got some of the first promo pictures from season two of The Vampire Diaries.  These pictures come from the first episode entitled The Return.

The pictures show Damon and Stefan in a heated conversation and Elena (or could that be Katherine) helping Stefan with a in jury.  What could have happened to Stefan?  Also, there are pictures of Tyler.  He’s not really doing much but obviously something is going on with Tyler.

The days are ticking down to the season two premiere of The Vampire Diaries.  Don’t forget, September 9, 2010 at 8/7c on The CW.
