First Bite: Did you like episode 1×08 – 162 Candles?

I hope this episode means that Stefan and Elena will be getting back together. Damon is such an a$$hole. Reasons: 1. He was really cruel to Caroline at the party. 2. He killed Lexie. I REALLY liked her. She was pretty and she made Stefan happy. And now because Lexie died, Stefan will be pushing Elena away. 3. He seems to care about no one but himself. I was glad to hear Tiesto being played as one of the songs at the party though. =)

If the fight at the end of the episode did not already indicate it, Stefan is no longer going to play Mr. Nice Guy with Damon. It is officially on! I have such a love hate relationship with Damon. His sarcastic banter, gorgeous grin and facial expressions just win me over. Case in point, Damon wanted to grin so badly when the Sheriff was saying that the vamps could be right in front of them and they would not know it. In fact, he almost did grin and had to stop himself. But then his mean, nasty and atrocious behavior just turns me off. He just will not let Stefan have more than a moment of happiness. Lexie was such a nice surprise. She had me wishing I had a friend like her. Her presence made Stefan put down his guard and relax. He really needed that. But Damon had to ruin it. Also, I want Damon to leave Caroline alone. When she called him “dungeon boy” I could not contain myself. Matt is an all around nice guy so even though it looks like he and Caroline might become close I am not sure. Oh! And for all those who have read the books (not spoiling for those who have not), we know what or likely who is coming…

This ep was aiiggghhttt. Wasn’t all that. Damon pissed me off something terrible though killing Lexi. The other parts just weren’t that exciting.

I loved this episode. I think I speak for everyone when I say Damon is definetly jelous. I loved it when he killed Lexi to make it look like he was the good guy but I was also crying at the same time because now Stephen is going to be really tempted to kill Damon. I’ve read all the books that are out and not in one has Lexi ever been mensioned. But I do think they brought her in to solve the vampire mystery. And I loved the sexy vampire fight between Damon and Stephen at the end! Can’t wait for next weeks episode and for the rest of the new trilogy of books to come out!

I loooooooooooooove your podcast please do me a favor and never stop broadcasting it. This episode i thought was good but not great. I thought that Stefan and Elena should get back together already it was alot better when they were. I still LOVE the podcast and the show. In episode 6 when Angela said if someone took my wii i think i’d notice i cracked up as hard as i could you guys are so funny and alwasys help me get more from the episode. Also i totally agree how you guys like damon i think he’s funny and cool and he’s really good on the inside. I also didn’t like how they keep killing so many people off. I think that yes, to make it realistic they have to kill people off because they are dealing with vampires. I do think that they could just wait a while or just kill people that aren’t such main charecters. I think they could have done alot with Vicki, but they of course killed her. So thats pretty much all I have to say but keep up the good work and whatever you do don’t stop.
