    Hi guys!

    Tabz here from Between the Lines Studios (Joss’d, Buffy Between the Lines, etc). This is the first episode of your podcast I’ve gotten a chance to listen to and I enjoyed it!

    Since I’m a huge Joss Whedon fan I, of course, always compare Vampire Diaries to Buffy. So I was kind of laughing at the Twilight-y. I actually was happy with the way Elena found out because at least it looked like Elena was a bit smarter than Bella. And especially when she goes “you eat garlic!”

    Of course, the books were written before Buffy, so I’m trying not to let the ring thing bug me, but Spike looks for a similar ring in Buffy (and Angel later smashes it to bits). So every time they talk about the rings Stefan and Daman have I want to go, “Ring of Amara!!”

    With the whole Elena being weirded out by Stefan, I think her major problem with the whole thing was that Stefan hadn’t stopped or protected anyone from Daman. He didn’t really explain the whole why Daman was more powerful than Stefan. Really, a majority of the problems with Mystic Falls is no one is talking to each other. ;) Full disclosure of course would make for a boring show.

    Anyways, I’ll keep listening and some time you guys should come on Joss’d and talk vampires. :D
